I used this "lull" as an opportunity to add the first "Easter Egg" to the book I am currently writing ("CJKV Information Processing" Second Edition). While I doubt anyone here will buy my book, as it has absolutely nothing to do with knives, the first letter of the first word of the first four paragraphs of Chapter 3 spell "INFI."

I dozed off for a few minutes after reading your book title. Did I miss much? :D

Your next challenge is to somehow get the phrase "Skunk junk" into a figure caption. :p

I have been drinking since noon. It helps my writing.

Ken, I can see how drinking could help in understanding complex Asian languages or Prescriptive Kanji Simplification.

My head hurts just looking at what you write. :o
I can barley speak and write in one language my friend. :p

It feels good to be in the writing groove again. Part of the hesitation of writing Second Edition has been the need to move from Adobe FrameMaker to Adobe InDesign. I am very much diggin' InDesign CS3. I am using the Japanese version (Japanese UI, but there are also Japanese-specific features that I need for some parts of the book).

First Edition was loaded with Easter Eggs, and Second Edition will have even more. That's the benefit of being both the author and typesetter. :D

The bottle is empty... Better open another one...:thumbup::thumbup:

Yeah , I know what you mean. I am in the middle of writing a training manual for Microsoft notepad. Easter eggs , don't even get me started trying to explain how to use f5 to add the time and date stamp. Wow, I think I need a break and a drink already. ;);):D

If you need a manual for Notepad maybe you should just use Crayons!

Sadly, it's difficult to concentrate on "classroom in a book" some days. I use to read tech manuals of every variety, maybe I do need to drink more. ;)
