I want to say thanx to the guys at SOG.
When I first got into knives there where 2 knives that caught my interest back in '92. 1st the was a Al Mar. it was huge and had the lock release in the middle it was a beautiful knife. And there was the Tomcat, which to me was the ultimate symbol of manhood. The Tomcat II did not live up to standard set by Tomcat, but the new Tomcat looks amazing and it seem to be just what the doctor ordered, Good job on the redesign.
I really wrote this thread in responds to SpecElite II. I actually asked SOG to make this knife on this forum. When I got my Pentagon II I fell in love with it. The arch-lock is amazing, the handle fits perfect in your hand and it is huge and afforable. For me the only draw-back to Pentagon was it's dagger stlye blade. The blade shape is perfect for it purpose, but it lacked the stlye and flare of other SOG knives. I said "It would be cool if they made a Pentagon with a X-ray style blade". Instead they made they SpecElite, and I couldn't be happier.
All in all I am very happy with the new line up. Thanx SOG. You guys are doing good work.
