I say we agree on the goal to get out an make some vids this summer so we can replenish the "Proof of Busse an Kin Superiority" section with cool Test Videos!
I went on there an most the links are to videos that have disappeared into oblivion...
what say you?

I too have long thought we need a new Busse and Kin superiority thread. The problem is getting people to chop into metal with thier knives.
 
damnit Noss4... we need to hire a bounty hunter!! he probably has all those cool vids just sitting on a thumb drive in his underwear drawer!!:mad:
 
What tests/proof haven't been done?

I like using my knives but don't like TRYING to destroy them to prove something to somebody. Though have done some wreck less things.

I made a tuna casserole about a month ago, opened 15 cans with my BGASH, thought all pics were uploaded to imgur but they werent cause wasn't logged in i guess. Was pissed. Not one chip in edge though and barely any coating missing. Was impressed. Have cut into like two cans with a Benchmade Adamas and lots of coating missing and couple chips. That knife still more than impressive to me for what other things I've put it though.

I can't think of what else we can prove with Busses that aint been done or would be willing to prove just for hell of it. I'm up for stuff but..... there's limits for me. Know this much, I want some INFI before spring. I haven't had a chance to test any out much. Only INFI had was a Boss Jack and didn't use cept indoors. Wish didn't sell it now, was while ago .

The other problem is when 30 of us destroy our knives prying off 2" thick steel doors and then send them back in for warranty. I'd imagine Jerry wouldn't be too enthused with our endeavor... Or would he?ha

I don't mean go bust our knives but compiling some awesome videos of putting them to hard use would be sweet to have here.. in one place! . that's all im saying man
I don't expect everyone to seriously go Noss on there $500 blades..
 
I hear ya. But some of the Busse Proof/Tests have made me cringe.;) Would like to participate, but there's limits for me personally. I use em' but try not to get to crazy with it. Would love to see some of you getting crazy and creative though.:D I just don't plan on chopping up trucks or 9 ton boulders with what I got. Unless somebody will loan me theirs to test.;)

I'm down for stuff for sure though and would really like to see whose got the balls to get as crazy as they wanna be.:thumbup: I totally get it I wanna push them to the limits myself but luckily(or not) my conscious/love for my knives is fairly strong willed.

im talkin any cool vids, chopping, slicing, batoning... maybe I shouldn't have said "test". lets just start collecting cool vids under one thread!
 
Gotcha. When hear words like test/proof start getting bad ideas in my head and my conscious is already telling me DON'T DO IT!;) Really wish had the funds to get as nuts as wanted to be without worry but dont. Know some of you do though and would love to see it.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I'm definitely in though.

LOL I hear ya Brutha, I guess booze, busses, an heavy metal have resulted in destruction vids that put a whole new meaning on "Test"

Indeed. :D I just watched a video of a guy hacking on some stone block with his TGLB and thinking "How much drink did it take for you to follow through will that idea?":D Didn't break tho, and didn't look like many chips in the edge if any. Went through that and didn't even show close ups of how well the blade held up. 😒
