Well I couldn't get my wife to model this knife for me, so I had to do the best I could :D.
AOL 8 3/4", 4 1/8" blade with a 3 1/4" cutting edge, brass guard, and a 2 piece handle from angora goat horn. Steel is 52100, 3x quenched and drawn, with a little file work on the spine.

will who was the lucky winner of that other great knife, my check did make it there?

I have some spanish goat horn that I have been wanting to try,and with as cool as this looks I guess I should..
Nice filework on the spine, the whole package looks great..

Thanks all, this is really a beautiful knife, my picture taking doesn't do it any justice.
Dave it is a cutter, I cut some strands from a 1" rope with this knife to make sure I had it ground and sharpened right, I made 100 cuts and decided I had it sharpened right, it was still cutting very easily when I quit.

Thanks ;)

Bill ????
