Just started a blacksmithing course at Arizona Western, thought it would be a good segway into bladesmithing. As a matter of fact, guess what I will be making as my projects for the course. I want to do a 1095 blade, a cable blade, and make my own damascus for a blade. What would be a good beginner combo for my damascus project? We will be going to the shop of Peter Sevin (out of Pheonix) next class for a fieldtrip, I guess he is a big time blacksmith. I am pretty stoked. Frank
