Hello everyone, headed to the Windy City next Friday to see one of my favorite bands, DARK TRANQUILITY :) Since Im makin the drive, I figured I would roll out early in the day so I could do a lil site seeing and grubbin.

Last time I went to Chicago, I made it a point to try some Pizza. Didnt know where to start so I settled on this place that had "Best Pizza in Chicago" written on the building. Thought that was a pretty bold statement to make so I decided to try it. Well it sucked, so now Im hopin to get a few reco's. My only other goal is to hit up the Sears Tower. If there is somewhere else ID be doing my self injustice by not checkin out then please enlighten me

THANKS AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!

Warning they have metal detectors at Sears Tower. However one guy looked at my Benchmade 940 and simply handed it back on the other side of the detector, just to let you know.

Thanks man, planned on carrying small, prolly just a spyderco cricket. Id prefer a caly 3 but I think it might be a bit too large for Chicago :thumbdn:

Hey man, make sure to check out Gino's East. They have the best pizza in town, it's my favorite anyway. Also, check out Millenium park and the bean. Do you like clubs? Cuz we got 'em.

Catch a Cub game
Visit Navy Pier
Visit the incredible aquarium
Visit a nightclub based around your style of music/sports
Visit some parks
Wear a Cardinals hat and a Twins jersey :D (and body armor)

Museum of Science and Industry.
Navy Pier.
The Art Institute & Millennium Park. (my favorite)
Field Museum & Aquarium. (right by each other on the lake)
Uno's Pizza but only the downtown location. (Uno's has a chain but the pizza sucks)
North Michigan Avenue is a great place to walk and shop.
Cubs or Sox game.

Note, Chicago has a under 2.5 inch carry law.

Go to the field museum and check out the Lions of Tsavo.
Rush street is worth a visit if you like beautiful women in abundance. ..

A guy at work tried recommending a pizza joint but couldnt remember what it was called, he said it started with a G. I have a feeling the Chicago Naitve knows what hes talking about :D:thumbup: Thanks for all the other tips, cubs game isnt possible (already looked), but the pier, aquarium and millennium park are eye catchers, thanks mang!

+1. Museum of Science and Industry might be my favorite. Honestly, not impressed by the Chicago deep dish pizza but thats for you to decide. If you are a baseball fan, see Wrigley at least once.

just googled everything, you guys rule!!! Everything mentioned, with exception to Ginos Pizza (still goin) is within a 1-2 mile radius. The field museum (and that bean thing) look SWEEEET! Cant wait! Pics to come
