DISREGARD!
I got to my unit today to outrpocess and they grabbed someone else before I could even get my plane tickets. My buddy was ready to go and standing around begging to take my place. I already went once, and he wanted to go. SLICE&DICE, if you don't mind I will Paypal you what you paid for the knife, and give it to him to go with. He isn't into knives, but he needs something. I am still going to go this year, just much later. Thank you for all your support guys!
 
I guess none of us should be surprised. I am a newbie on the Forums, but have consistently held your posts in high regard - - calm, incisive, and clearly based on experience, even when the flames are flying. (Incidentally, those are qualities I am glad are represented in the armed services).

I train and stay ready, but have never served my country in a military capacity, and have the utmost respect for those who do. Please accept my best regards and wishes for a safe and speedy return.

(I know I said hurry home but I didn't expect it to be that quick)

USAFSP, as I told my son when he went over to serve, keep yours low and get theirs should the need arise. Otherwise keep a low profile and watch your back.

Reading your post made me sad that you have to go back. I just listed a tak 1 d2 for sale. Email me with an address and I'll send it to you FREE. Thats the least I can do For what your doing for all of us. THANK YOU Bill
 
I will do my best to post as regularly as I can to keep everyone updated with Lanny's experiences. This is the second time Lanny and I have been through this type of situation, the first being 6 months after we first got together. He was gone for 6 months that time.
 
Wish you the best of luck. Keep your hopes up and remember what you have waiting for you back at home. I'll be doing my part there in a year (Army deployment to Afghanistan) Stay safe. And thank you for serving our country.
 
I am an Arab from a country close to Iraq.
I KNOW that what America did in Iraq is right.The change that took place in Iraq is slow but I believe that it will be a great country to live in one day. The change is not only in Iraq. In my country and in the whole middle east.

I study in the UK with one year to go and it makes me angry when I hear people saying that the war was not moral or not legal. They Know **** about what th9ings were over there and how they are becomming.

Have a nice trip and come back safe to your family and those who love you.

Thanks everyone. I was told there was a small moral tent where I am going, so if there is a way to get on the BF I will, but if not MD Wolf will do it for me. I will still be posting from now till I leave. I don't know what kind of facilities I will have at Ft Lewis, but I will post as I can. Slice&Dice, thank you very much. I will use it proudly.

I don't know you but I was happy to hear this USAFSP. It is good that you get to spend some more time with your friends and family before going back. Best regards and prayers for your friend and for you.
