Somehow, I just knew there would be a knife or two in there... is that a MaxP Pygmy Falcon? It looks remarkably similar to how I load mine up, except with slightly posher knives :D

Yup. Got that pack on clearance at LA Police Gear a while back, and it's been a favorite day pack ever since.

We're just car camping so I get to play, not hump steel. There's also a GB Small Forest Axe along for the ride.

BTW, I recommend the inner tube over the Mora handles. Way improved grip.

Needs more choil.

Now, now. Don't be a hater. :p

I'm disappointed there's not a single Cold Steel product in there. What if you're attacked by a pig carcass wrapped in heavy denim?

You're right. I'm going to get my CS Master Hunter and CS Pendleton Hunter. I've heard pig carcasses attack in pairs.

Somehow, I don't think many of the guys around here will ever be "under knifed". :D

That sheath for your FBMLE is the illest. That's classy mang.

I was going to be jealous of that sweet set- but then I realized I have six of the knives in that picture. Apparently we have similar tastes. :)

Just some good-natured ribbing! :D

I own a few choils myself, though none as nice as yours.

All the best,

- Mike

Mike, I was just joking myself. I actually like the choils on the bigger blades for choking up and doing work. The little Game Warden has a smaller choil that doesn't bug me. The only one I wish was smaller is on that Busse Active Duty (third from top). It is a thin-bladed Busse classic that is highly sought after, and it has one sweet convex edge on it, but the choil is too big for that knife.

Taking the kayaks, so I'll also have the top knife (pictured below) on my life vest. That Benchmade H20 is a great river knife that comes with a first-class sheath. It is also one of the sharpest knives out of the box I've ever bought.

Wow! Must be a big kayak:D

Seriously, I gotta ask-is all the steel in the first pic riding on the water, and if so, attached to you or the kayak? I ask because there's enough weight there to be a problem in an emergency, but the loss of some of those would be an emergency in an of itself:p

No steel will be floating other than the Benchmade!

I'm car camping with a kayak group. The other knives (in the backpack) are just for me to play around with and scare folks. :D

I'm also driving my own vehicle, so the expensive stuff will be locked up if I'm not using it.
