Removed the pocket clip from my new Inkosi today and what a difference! The knife just feels and handles so much better and is more comfortable. I love my new large Inkosi but it’s a little big and heavy so it won’t be replacing my Bugout as my main daily carry knife. So, I’m trying “clipless” for a while. I have the clip insert on order and will post a photo once installed.

I generally find that I use clips on just about every knife as an aid in grip while opening or closing. They certainly look better with two smooth scales though. Especially when you can get piece that fills in the screw hole

I prefer a clip on the Sebenza - but on the mnandi, I’m leaning towards clipless and in the slip. I don’t wear slacks or dress pants a lot, so clipping a milled clip is a bit of a pain for me.

Currently my Umnum is the only CRK I am using without the clip. If I used the sheaths more, I would probably remove the clips on all the larger CRKs I have.

It's funny, for hundreds of years people have been carrying pocket knives without clips. Certainly they had the technology and someone must have thought of the idea. They probably thought that how a knife handles is more important than how it carries. Then comes the 1980's and suddenly everybody wants a pocket clip on their knife. I doubt if there is any folder with a locking blade sold today without a pocket clip.

I have lots of knives (Mnandi's, William Henry's) without clips. They always come with a leather pouch with clip but I don't use them, I just put the knives in my 5th pocket, which is pretty deep on the jeans/cords I wear.

Discovered clip-less works great for eliminating clip hot spot, I found William Henry clipcase in one of two sizes in my shirt pocket is good for up to 3oz easy

I've been carrying mine on my belt. Works well for me.
Weird .... carrying a pocket knife on my belt and my fixed blade in my pocket 😳

I would like a little smaller screw head when using the insert. The CRK slips work great but are a little large in my sample. Great quality so far, and durable from my use.

I am not fond of pocket clips on my knives; the first thing I generally do after getting a new knife is to remove the pocket clip. I don't like the way they feel in my hand. I love the fact that CRK offers pocket clip covers for when someone removes the pocket clip.
Agree completely with this

That is another snap with a cover to fill it when not is use. That sheath is made for either the large or small sebenza. For the small you use that bottom button. But I gotta say it swallows my small sebenza and looks rediculous.
Interesting. I have what is likely an older version of this sheath, only made for a large

While I leave the pocket clips installed, I haven't clipped a knife to my pocket in a good long time. That is until this past Tuesday when I went maverick and clipped a Sebenza to my right front pocket and went to the office. By 9:30 in the morning, I had snagged, sprung and deformed the clip. Back to leather belt pouch carry. Every time I think I can clip something, I either lose it or destroy the clip. One of my sub-hobbies is having leather sheaths and pouches custom made for my gear. I've got something new on the way, which should provide a stable in pocket carry experience.
