I almost never get things right when they come out. Nearly every time I do, I feel like I got ripped off, two years later when I see the item I lusted over for sale for half the price...
That being said, I recently started working on a line of reviews and comparisons that I am going to post on Youtube, where I will attempt to go somewhat into detail on a lot of popular knives, and some head to head competition.
Therefor, the DAY it is available, a Bk21 will go on plastic, and as soon as it hits my door, the Camera will come out :-D
I am chompin at the bit!

I've figured out how I'm gonna pay for the 21 when it comes out of the shoot rather than wait for a price drop. I've decided to dedicate my pecan money for it. Pecans are down this year ( 35 cents/ pound right now). Sold 184 pounds Monday for $64.40. Got another 15 pounds picked up this morning. Hopefully 200 more pounds will be enough since that's probably the limit on this year's crop due to the drought.

I have been saving all of my spare change in a cup in the console of my car. Up to about $50 so far. Hope to add at least another $20 before the end of the year, then the rest by the release date.
Any idea what the street price will be? I am kinda counting on it being just a bit more than a 9...

Maybe when they release it they will do a special edition run in a special steel, although if they do that, I probably wont be able to afford it lol

For my 2 cents, I doubt it. I think when it finally is produced, it will be in a single steel type, 1095 CroVan, the same as all the current Beckers are being produced in. Why mess with success?

I am not suggesting that they mess with the steel. I took the time to bother Ethan and the forum earlier about 5160, but i know that whatever Ethan chooses is what I want lol
That being said, with the collectible nature of Beckers, a limited edition run could be ran in 3v, or s30v etc etc. It wouldn't be the first time right?
I am perfectly content with cro-van, dont get me wrong. I am even more happy with the price point, especially for the main production run.

I've actually handled it. Believe me when I say that it makes the waiting all that much worse. Ethan did say they would be produced with the older slick coating. I'm a fan of the newer coating. It seems to hold up better. Anywho, I can't wait to spend money I don't have. Ha ha ha

Any idea what the sheath is going to look like?
Kydex, (or ABS for that matter), would be pretty dang cool!

Are there any pics anywhere?

I don't think so. I've handled both. That's what I went off of when I said that.

I think this is it.
