Going shooting on the 16th - church activity

Next Saturday the 16th my church group and I will be heading up to the Provo shooting range for some target practice and BBQ/Dutch Oven goodness. I'll probably whip up some Dutch Oven chili the night before and heat it up there. Some one else will be doing either hotdogs or hambergers or both.

Will be bringing my three pistols and my Ruger 10/22 that I finally got from home. Some neighbors in the complex will also be bringing some hand guns and rifles. Mostly going to shoot .22 LR and 9mm. But I'll probably also bring a box or two of .357 Mag or .38 Special. And a friend might be bringing his .50 Cal Blackpoweder rifle along with his Rusian M44. Either way it should be lots of fun.

I mention this here cause I know you guys like to hear and also to invite anyone that might can come. I know it's short notice and I'm one of the few Khukuri nuts in Utah, but still I thought I'd offer.

Am thinking of getting some Water Mellows to blow to bits and film it. What do you guys think?

Kismet, Ear protection sure is a must! I have a pair of full coverage kind, what ever they are called and 12 pairs of ear plugs. Will get more before we go next week. thanks for the reminder or I might have forgotten to get more.

Wolf_1989, The M44 sure does make a Big bang, specially at the indoor range I normal shoot at. Turns heads every time we fire it.

Jutte, glad you aprove. Was thinking of taking some pics and video clips of the water mellons getting blown to bits then sending them to Mail Call. I think the Gunny would aprove don't you?

The wait is getting to me. I walk around the complex every day asking people if they want to go shooting early. So far no takers. My coworker who is also my regualer shooting buddy can't go this week either... It's been 1 month or more since I've shot any guns. I'm seriously having withdrawls. LOL!! we went once a week from January till April.
