so i was going through my father in laws shop looking for parts to finish a job for him when i found two axe heads one was a double edged axe just marked homestead the other was marked collins 3 and after reading this thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/832523-Collins-Axe i think i might have a nice little find in my collins 3 
i am thinking of cleaning them up and hanging them
but if they are rare-ish i would like to try my hand on a more common axe head first any info on either would be great i hope to add pics later if i can
