going through some old knives that belonged to my dad

most of them i can figure out but this one the mark on the blade is so small and the unkind years of less than ideal storage have made it difficult to read

didn't put anything for scale but the handle is ~2" (maybe a little more) and it has just the one blade

I have a limited knowledge about it. But it is a Hammberbrand easy open knife. The blade looks like the acrylic gased out some decades ago.

Some oil and elbowgrease could help to date the tang stamp better than it is shown here.

It is a Hammer Brand, which is Imperial made. If it has USA vertically on the right it is a 1945-55. If not, it is 1938-41.
