I am in a dilemma between either the GB, or AR. I currently have a benchmade stryker but now I want a Strider. Can you blame me?? I am sort of a tanto fan but then I've also heard good things about the AR and seems as though more people favor the AR. I havn't the chance to hold any of these blades in my hand so I will not know which one is more comfortable. Which is why I am coming to you guys. Is one sharper than the other? One heavier than the other? I prefer the heavier one. Which is the newer design? Lanyard systems available? Holsters? Please help.

Thanks ahead!
Shelby

Only difference is blade style and if you prefer the tanto then by all means buy one. I have an AR but also have a GB on order so i solved the which one problem, buy both. They are built like tanks and will do whatever you need it to.

The AR is a more versatile blade style and is in my opinion easier to resharpen. Tanto's are cool, but not as usefull to me.

I think Tattoo is right. I should just get both. I mean heck, I already have 17 SureFire flashlights. Why not two knives.:)

Due to the fluid dynamics of the air flow over a rotary wing and using Bernouli's principle, I have found that, Yes, Vinnie, tanto's fall easier from moving helicopters than their spear point cousins.

You can talk about it all you want.
I have one thing to say.
Soon you will ALL be buying new AR's and GB's.
I‘ve been using a GB with our new grind.
It's sickening. VERY sharp.
Kina scary to be honest.

Ever Vigilant
