What is there to do? Looks like a quaint little town, I'm not a hell raiser, and even though I'm a big fatty, I can remain unnoticed. Looking to do a little exploring and fishing, might run up to Atlantic City. I posed this question on JD, and got some great ideas. Any ideas here? I'm going on a Tuesday, depending on how I feel might take the next day off, so I might have more than a day to kill down there. I'm going to Nottingham PA to meet a friend for breakfast before she goes to work, then I'm driving through Delaware and over the bridge, into Jersey and will hugging 49 and 47, probably straight through, but will stop for anything neat. PA and DE are my stomping grounds, I know whats there, but have only poked around the area near the bridge in NJ. I'm open to ANYTHING, within reason :D .

Ive been there a couple of times. First, everytime we go there we eat at this place called the lobsterhouse http://www.thelobsterhouse.com/ i have yet to be dissapointed. finding places to go fishing are without question there. atlantic city is a bit of a hike north, talking about a good hour maybe less if you drive like a maniac. Best way is taking the expressway up there otherwise the scenic route is taking ocean drive all the way up. It takes some time if its a nice day its worth it. My parents always went antiquing (sp doesnt looking right) because they are all over the place. The whole town is full of old houses and museums. This a decent site to check out http://www.capemay.com/.

g luk and have some fun

How long are you going to be there? I'll be in Ocean City, NJ for a week starting on the 23rd.

If I decide to drive back the next day, part of the 11th. I might go down for a family reunion in OC MD, and might take the Cape May Lewes ferry up to Cape May same time you're in OC NJ.

Sweet! Romance via the good ol internet! Kalooch and SHS k-i-s-s-i-n-g! First comes

Take the ferry over to DE for the day, and have lunch / drinks on the boat.
Drive back up the coast approx 1/2 hr to Wildwood's Boardwalk.

I've already seen all of DE :D . Ron, you're just jealous that I got the fire fighter.

Man, that doesn't sound right  .

Cape May is famous (among naturalists) as one of the biggest birding hot spots in the U.S. Bring your binoculars and a field guide.

Enjoy the trip!
I have only been there once about 25 years ago and had a lot of fun.
