Tomorrow I'm leaving on my motorcycle for a tour of the western United States. Sold my old ZX-11 and bought a new (2003) Honda ST1300. I added a trunk, GPS navagation, and cruise control. The MP3 player and the XM radio will have to wait until next year. It wouldn't be right to not stop in and see the friendly folks at CRK. While I'm there I will be picking up my 2004 Giraffe inlay Sebenza. I'll be going to Boise, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone and then to visit with my uncle in Salmon Idaho. Then it's back home to Southern California. I hope to be home in time to go to Blade Show West. I'll take plenty of pictures and give everyone an update when I get home! ;) :D

how the heck are they gonna fit a Giraffe onto a Sebenza? have you SEEN a Giraffe? those things are frickin' HUUUGE!!! props to CRK LOL

If you end up on US Hwy 12, give a wave as you pass through Orofino. Or better yet, stop by the Brass Rail for a cold Moose Drool.

could you take some pics of the crk shop and bridget and chris, for your old pals back on the bladeforum? We would love to see the chris reeves set up.

Well guys, I made to CRK and picked up my new knife. It is awesome. Mark gave me a tour of the shop and as Anne said there's not a whole lot to it. I did however, have Mark take a picture of me holding my new knife, on my motorcycle in front of the shop. Do a search, Anne posted pictures of the interior. By the time I got there (the traffic in Boise is something else!) it was 4:30PM and Chris and Anne were gone for the day. Bridget was there and I also met Lisa! Right now I'm in Salmon Idaho visiting my aunt and uncle. When I get home in a week I'll scan some photos and post then for you guys to see. :D ;) :p

ScottDog, I am interested in the pics AND a bike review. The ST1300 is on my short list of bikes to check out. Interested in how it feels after 8 hours.

OK here's my baby! The ride was great. The ST1300 is a very well built bike. I hear that Honda is getting a contract to build a police version of the ST1300 in my area. It rides and is as dependable as a comparable BMW but the maintenace costs are are way way less. Shaft drive is really the way to
go. More about my trip later..... :D ;) :p
