I'll be in the area next Friday and I was wondering if there was any good reason to stop by the Kershaw factory? (Factory tour, outlet store, things of that nature )

Thanks and welcome back!

I would love to see a knife factory and be able to understand the mechanics of how a knife is made.

bring your knives and have warranty put a new edge, and run through em.. theyre great there you can check out almost every kershaw made available to the public, not sure about tours though?

Tours are most likely a no-no, but they have all sorts of knives up for display, and they're very knowledgeable, friendly people to talk to :)

I recall asking Thomas about a factory tour a couple years ago, he said they don't do them. Maybe they're not set up for tours. If you're going to be in the Oregon area, you can tour the Tilamook factory and sample their cheeses and ice creams and stuff. That was a fun tour.

Gerber's in the area as well... maybe they do tours.

Going to Gerber is the reason I'm going to be in the area. I've got two broken multi tools that I'm hoping to get replaced. Im spending the night in Portland anyways, so I figured I would just make a little side trip.
