Going To The Zoo!

Going to Brookfield Zoo today. Aly and I have gone every year since she was 2, so this will make it 25 years! It`s part of our Christmas tradition, the more miserable the weather, the better. Today it`s raining. We get there about 2:30 so we can see the exhibits that are closed after dark, like the wolves (my favorite), and then when it gets dark it`s all decorated and lit up with lights and Christmas trees.

I took my granddaughter to the St. Louis Zoo a few years ago - it was a lot of fun and she really enjoyed the trip!

Having fun with my granddaughters is my favorite thing to do.

A tree branch tied up there.

They really do a great job with the decorations there. I worked at the zoo for a few summers during HS and they have been doing their Holiday thing for at least 20 yrs.

At least 25, this was the 25th year in a row I`ve gone with my daughter, ever since she was 2.
