Gold and Premium Memberships --- a good deal!

If you click on the link at the top of the page you will see that the Gold memberships are $30 per year and the Premium membeships are only $20/year.

I got a Premuim membeship for two partlcular reasons.

(1) It allows me to easily post a picture. A browse window appears at the bottom of my window, I just mouse click on a picture on my computer and it appears in my post! Neat, simple, clean!

(2) I really love this forum, I spend a lot of time here and I know that it costs something to keep it going. I have no idea what it costs, but I am sure that Sparks is not getting rich on my $20 per year! However I do want to do my part to support this great forum even if the only room I usually visit is the HI Cantina. It is well worth the price to affirm and support it.

I do recognize that $20 is a bit of money for some forumites, but thought that I would address the issue.

Just my 2 cents (plus $20). I guess that makes it $20.02 and that is this year!

I agree 100%.

The only reason I don't have a Gold membership is that it will make it too easy to sell all my knives...a temptation I would never want to give in to.

I could not agree more. I finally got off of my butt and got a gold a couple days ago. I have been wanting to be able to post pictures on the forum. Well I got the digital camera a week or two ago and decided it was time to become a paying member so I could post pictures and as stated, it also shows our support for Bladeforums.

I recently upgraded to premium because I spend 99% of my internet time on Bladeforums and until I started buying HI khukuris I didn't own any knives worth taking pictures of. (If you've seen one 9" Cold Steel Magnum tanto you've seen them all)
