Sadly, this isn't a thing... yet. I really hope they make one as I love the knife and would like a nicer version.

I'd love to see something along the lines of the 707-161:

Some sort of contoured/milled Ti scales. I think a burl wood inlay(green hopefully) would look great. For the blade I'd really like to see Benchmade adopt a new finish: a polished stonewash like Spyderco often uses. They could call it poliwash! Any ol' super steel is fine with me.

What would you like to see?

if Benchmade made that I would definitely buy one and i would love to see in the custom knife builder at some point as well.

Here's a black one. I think a G-10 (535-1), M390 Bugout is a great idea. S30V is really about ideal for the Bugout, but M390 is always a better idea.

Milled-drilled Ti handle, with a hole patern like the Adamas? Yeah, ANY ole' super steel would do. ;)

Heck, cf milled and drilled like the Adamas would be a winner...kinda Silver Class.

I think the beautiful high polished stonewash like found on the spydie Southard is one of the nicest finishes i’ve ever seen on any blade. It has great depth, almost a 3d look to it. It also resists scratches very well.

In terms of handle materials, while Ti is nice, I believe there may have never been a knife that is better suited for carbon fibre than the Bugout.

Part of the Bugout’s appeal is its light weight. One of it’s qualities I have heard most complained about is the relatively flimsy handle material. I think the Bugout would benefit immensely from the ridgidity of carbon fibre.

A Bugout something like the Knifeworks or DLT Trading exclusive Griptilians would be pretty slick. I'd prefer it as a dealer exclusive rather than a Gold Class, myself. What we're asking for is more akin to a small upgrade than a full-dress bling-a-thon, so we'd want to pay small upgrade prices, not bling-a-thon ones.

I agree about the carbon fibre, the only reason I went for Ti was because the aftermarket was so quick to produce CF scales for it. You'd be paying gold class prices for a CF bugout that you could pretty easily assemble yourself. Whereas a Ti scale set would be much more difficult to source.
