Gold Gillette De Razor

It belonged to my grandfather and I recently found it, I am pretty sure it is not real gold, but I thought I would just ask if it was.

It's probably heavy gold plated.

From your description, it is a gold plated Gillette razor. A picture might help to determine if it is a Gillette Tech, Fatboy, Toggle, Aristrocrat, Bostonian, etc.

I did some more research and it looks to be a 1960 toggle DE razor.
