I'd like to add that I just upgraded my membership to Gold as well tonight. Paid via paypal.
I read that I may have to wait awhile before I can change my user group in my user cp due to having to be manually upgraded?
Any more info would be great. Thanks.

Wait a day or so till Spark can enable it, then follow the instructions above:
"to activate the color/title: Go to User CP and down the left side to Group Memberships and click on Gold."

I thought about doing that in the first place, but wasn't sure that maybe I should just chime in on the other thread about being Gold.
