Finally made it, glad I did, the features available are neat, picture loading, messages to those on line, Polling features which I tried and is pretty cool and you get to sell on here as well.

Not that much for a years worth and it helps out, so
all those procrastinators out there, suck it up and get on board!

Welcome to the gold club Gary. The humidor to your right is filled with Monte #2's, and to your right we have some wonderful single malt scotch.:D

Who is this G2 guy and who does he think he is telling folks to suck it up?;)

I agree Gary and my favorite feature is finally being able to post pics right from my discs. I'm no computer geek, (just a plain ol' geek), but it seems to me that this makes the membership fee that much MORE of a bargain! You don't have to pay Photopoint anymore to transfer your pics.

I'm especially happy to know my beautiful new G2-made sheath helped finance Gary's new-found Goldness.

;)

Just did it tonite, first thing when I stopped in :D Can anyone tell me how long before I have access to the features?

I really wish more people would cough up the membership fee. I am starting to miss the activity in the "For Sale" forums. Just doesn't take long to cruise thru anymore. Heck, maybe I'll clean house and have a garage sale next week.

Gary,

Great BANG for the BUCK!! When I called the NICE lady at 1SKS had me upgraded in about a half hour!!

Thanks to you guys and yep I think there are a lot who haven't commited yet for one reason or another. I remember in a post a LONG time ago when the ForSale section was closed and a lot of people expressed that if there was a way to help out with a minimum yearly fee they'd be willing and more than able to help out, that was encouraging to read then, I just hope that they still feel that way as well.

For me? well my first Poll was/is interesting, the results so far are interesting and it will be a while before I can think of another type of poll, but it will be better thought out, as I missed some of the blade types for the poll and asked assistance and those missing items were added a bit later by a helping Moderator....here is that thread, you should take a peek and vote for your favourite blade shape in a folding knife too!

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=164219

As of right now ONLY 59 people have voted and please note, you can only vote once per your Bladeforums name so when you go back to see what the standings are for your favourite blade shape you can't vote a second time....which is a good thing!

Now I know there are more than 59 people that own folding knives on the forum? right? ;) probably some that own 59 folding knives!
