Gold membership hasn't kicked in (or something)

I decided I'd finally contribute a little.

But for some reason, my signature doesn't show up, or my avatar, and I imagine it is somehow related to the fact that my name is still shown in blue as merely registered. Is there a delay?

No big deal.

It was pretty much instant when I went to gold.

Maybe it's a slower process over the weekend or some key bit of the site isn't working quite right??

According to your profile, you are a Gold member.

Go to User CP and down the left side to Group Memberships and click on Gold.
Go to Settings & Options and make sure Avatar and Signature are checked off also.

ah, for some reason I had turned off ALL avs and signatures. Wonder why that was.

Stupid me for thinking this would be automatic. I'm not as smart as I think I am.
