Gold membership paid via PayPal not getting activated?

Hi,

Just checking here if I made everything by the books. As I am from Europe (Finland) I ended up on this page when purchasing a gold membership:

On the paragraph I'm not from the US, how do I pay for a membership? it says that as of 9/2009 non-US members can pay via PayPal, so I did that on the 19th of January (four days ago). I did put in my username, so I'm just curious if it should take this long for the membership to get activated? Maybe I did something wrong? I went in and checked from my emails and there is a receipt from PayPal for the said payment, so I'm not just imagining making the payment

If I check the Permission Groups/Join Groups option, it just says "There are currently no public usergroups available for you to join."

Overseas transactions have to be entered manually by Spark himself. With the SHOT show in Las Vegas, he is probably a little behind at the moment. Please be patient, he will get to you as soon as he can.

and this is why you should always pay by credit card. if you do that it is automatic paid and the proper membership is put to you.

I am absolutely in no hurry with this membership thing, so everything is fine. I just wanted make sure I didn't screw it up somewhere in the process. Good things come to those who wait, right?

Well, it's been 10 days since I made the PayPal payment, and I'm still a registered user, no user group to join.

This hole waiting thing is starting to bug me a little bit, just a little bit, but still...
