Gold membership question?

I have a question,I bought the gold membership,but when I post it is still saying I am a basic member,how long does it take to change over.

It can take a few days. Why didn't you get the knifemaker membership?
KM is the only one that allows you to post in the makers for sale forum, also Knifemakers equipment and Supplies forum.

Is it possible to change from gold to maker? I wouldn't mind doing that myself. I was wondering what the differences were. I thought that the maker and gold were pretty much the same when I signed up. I guess I should have taken more time to figure it out.

If you're a Knifemaker, and you want to be switched from gold to KM, make a thread at the Service and Support Forum. In the title, after subject, mark it ATTN; Spark. Should be no problem.

Edited to add; Service and Support is almost at the bottom of the general forum index.

if so it says GM and dealers only? I've never been there before

I was going to do the gold,but I fellowed what Mike said
I want to sale knives so I got the knikemaker instead
Now all I have to do is wait for it to kick in
