gold membership

Can someone let me know if my membership is expired. I think it may be because I am seeing all the adds at the top of the page

Disregard, after making the above post it shows I am a registered member. Time to go back to gold

It says I need to change my user group setting, but it's not saying I have any user groups.

I did buy a Gold membership.
Since I did buy a Gold membership, but do see myself as a registered user, I posted in this thread as a similar topic rather than start a new one. Should I have done the latter instead?
I did read the FAQ.
I also read the bullet at the head of the membership purchase page which said I need to change my user group. However, it doesn't show any user group options to change to.
I purchased my Gold membership 2 days ago using the membership drive link.

Very good! That was a PayPal link, right? Should take 2 or 3 days, maybe a couple more being the weekend now. Check the user group upgrade and it will let you know when you're good to go.
