gold one sided blade 110?

i have a buck 110 with a gold colored blade,sharpened only on one side. it is brand new a gift from my wife in 97. i cant find the knife anywhere to compare it or find out if it is collectible or valuable.i cant even find a picture of the thing on the net.any help appreciated. oh and hello to all you knife geeks.thanks for having me.oh yea, i also have spyderco first year of issue that has the spider carved out thru the blade and handle.just dug them out and was curious .

As Dave H stated, that is an Ion Fusion. Or, "BuckCote".
I have two 110 Cotes'. One is still in a box with the stickers and papers and the other is one of my EDC knives. It's wicked sharp.

Also have a 119 with that technology.

Oh I have a couple of those Buckcote ionfusions, they rock ;)

Collectible... To some!
Valuable? They are worth a little more than a standard 110, but I wouldnt say that they are the top dollar seller...

I meant the "bottom" one is in my EDC rotation.
