Gold Plate Service

I have a buddy here in town that will gold plate any material you want plated. I haven't used his services yet but figure it would work for a wallhanger knife ot maybe restoration work.He has even plated items outside while the object is still attatched to the vehicle. Anyhow, I thought this was kind of unique and it is real gold. He can apply a pretty heavy coating of gold if required and the item to be plated is not submerged, just coated with chemicals and then some voltage is applied with his portable machine.

You can get those kits from Eastwood, or from Sears through Eastwood.

I do remember that they are advertised in Popular Hot Rodding magazine.
