Gold vs Basic Membership

Gold doesn't list the trade forums because they are already allowed under the basic membership. Gold just lists all the additions you get with it above what comes with the Basic membership.

Thank you! That's what I thought, but the only reason I ask is because Platinum lists Trades, but Gold doesn't so I wanted to be sure.

Do you have any idea what happens to members like me who have both a gold and basic membership at the same time? When the gold expires does the basic kick in?

I was at one point both platinum and gold, and whichever expires first is the one that goes away first; I ended up posting a thread in tech support for Spark to pro-rate my gold into my platinum and in a couple months it was fixed.

I just need to prorate your existing basic onto the end of your gold

Ok great! I had the basic only for like 3 weeks before I got the gold so it’s probably not worth it. Just was curious to know.
