I have one dated dated 1988, but no numbers on the back. I should have looked closer. Not the same knife.

Armand, you just have to love those Eagles. I have #0776.

One of the best looking etches that Buck ever had done in my opinion. Mine has a 1990 blade.

did any one note the diff's in the two bald eagles?
one i think was done by buck and i heard the other darker was done by baron

"HEART AND SOUL IN STEEL AND GOLD of BUCK KNIVES"

I'm right now patiently waiting for my Eagle knife. Eagle Feather that is, the 112 offered this year to the BCCI made by Buck, Wilde Bill Cody and David Yellowhorse. Yep, I sprung for it. It'll be my first 112, my first David Yellowhorse knife and my first Wilde Bill Cody knife. Oh yes, my first Eagle knife too. :)

By the way, Plumberdv, yours and mine are and will be Bald Eagles. The one ItsTooEarly first posted is a Golden Eagle. :)

Yes, they are cool, I have one of them also. When my wife was doing the wildlife rehab thing years back, she had a Golden Eagle here for a few weeks that had been injured. It was a magnificent creature (and very intimidating too!).
