The galls were 2 days old...well I picked them 2 days before I tried the hand drill on them. At least this time I kept the coal off of the socks....haha.

Dude, now this is big fat awesome sauce. I can find tons of galls by wasps and other factors, but I never thought of using them due to theirtexture.
