Once upon a time Goldilocks wanted an EDC knife so she got a #15 Huckleberry Boys Knife in Rust Red jig bone and as much as she liked it the blade was a little to long and the handle a little to big for her hands, so she traded it in on a #18 Beagle in Cola Jig Bone and at first she loved it, but as time went by and her hands started to stiffen up the lovely little Beagle became just to fiddly for her silly fingers, so she put it in a box with her other favourite things and went to the knife shop to look for another knife to take its place, as she looked at all the knives on show a neat middle size knife with a funny name kept calling out to her, so she tried a #14 Lick Creek Boys Knife in Antique Yellow Jig Bone and it was just perfect.

THE END.

Until she started longing for stainless instead of carbon :D That will be hard to satiate, knowing GEC's parsimony with non-carbon:D

Or else she became Little Red Rust Riding-Hood......

Glad you found the Right GEC though

Pictures or not, I like this kind of playfulness.

oldmanrunning, if you want a Flickr tutorial for that photo service, let me know. Using that is pretty easy.

This thread needs pictures:)

14 top in Rust Red

15 below in stainless. Gives an idea of the size ratio.

Thanks for helping me out Will, pictures always help. I used to be able to post from my old Dell but this new machine defeats me, even the neighbour who showed me how to post from the Dell was stumped !! My niece has now got the old Dell up and running but Imgur where i kept my pictures has changed their uploading (or is it downloading ) protocol so i am stymied, thanks for your offer re Flickr but i doubt i will "Get it" there either.

Regards OMR.

Thanks OMR I was the other way round with the 14, bitter disappointment, just too small and I don't know....??:confused: It's all a taste/disposition thing.

As for the technology bugbear, don't worry I'm an unreconstructed dinosaur (never forget, those reptiles ruled the world a lot longer than we are going to :D ) You'll get the hang of it, it's just the change nuisance. Knives are a constant, a constant source of appeal and obsession...;)

Man, I'd have a lot more money if it only took me three tries to get it right. :p

Congrats on finding the perfect fit, OMR. I fear many of us will never reach that destination.
