Hmm where to start...so I got a message from my local post office this afternoon telling me I had a parcel. Of course the parcel was the knife I came to find out. When I opened the box I really took my time as I could tell he had. The crown over my name gave me a chuckle as im dutch and thats what kroon means, dont know if that was coincidence or on purpose but sure made me smile. Thank you for the very cool stickers by the way very nice touch. After reading the spec paper which was very nice as well I unwrapped some plastic wrap to find my knife. I again took my time then picked it up with my eyes closed just to really feel it. I must say it went in my hand and felt very organic in shape and like it needed a job. upon opening my eyes I further inspected the blade and was very impressed. The satin finish was well done and quite smooth. The pebbled finish at the very top and back of the tang was a nice subtle touch in which I felt was well executed. the g10 used for the handle was very warm looking with its neutral earthy colors making it look very disarming (though im sure it would do rather well in a pinch). I then tested the sharpness of the blade and was quite impressed there as well as it easily took hair from my arm. I have been playing with it and it seems comfortable in saber, reverse and even hammer grip although less so. The balance could have perhaps been a bit forward although its not enough to put me off and I may change my mind. I suspect this is because of the pommel/pry bar or bottle opener(useful for my needs). The only criticism I have is that the retention on the kydex could have been better as it did fail the shake test(not when strapped). I will do a follow up after iv edc'd the knife for one week.
