Hey Gollnick, was checking out the list of movies with bali's on your site today and noticed something missing. Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight, there is a ton of bali stuff in there including some pretty sweet latch drops and locked open throws, if you havent seen it go check it out, damn cool movie.

I think there's another movie you missed, but I could be wrong. The only bali-featuring part that I saw was in the trailer for it, which was in the beggining of the VHS version of Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn (great movie). if anyone Evil Dead 2, you might want to check out that preview

I'm sure there are others. Please bring them to my attention and include your comments on both the balisong and its manipulation and the movie overall. Others have pointed out this Tales from the Crypt thing, but my understanding, and I hope you'll correct me if I'm wrong, is that it's not really a movie but an episode of a TV series. I don't know if it's readily available on video tapes.

My overall personal favorites remain Streets of Fire and payback, but I welcome everyone's contributions.

Hm well I guess in a way you could say that it was a episode of a TV series, but it is widely available at the moment on DVD, just check your local best buy or walmart, and it is two hours long, so does fall into the movie category, also I think you may still be able to rent it from blockbuster, horror section. And I agree Payback has some really decent manipulation, but Demon Knight, has several manipulations(damn quick ones) throughout the movie instead of a little section of them at one time.

Tales From The Crypt was a TV show on HBO. There were two movies made after the TV show. The first was called "Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight," it played in theaters and is available on VHS and most likely on DVD. The second was called Tales From The Crypt: Bordello of Blood. It was also in the theaters and is available for rent. I do not think the balisong appeared in that one though.

Yeah back in the old days I noted that I loved that movie. both cause of the bali and the story itself. I love Avatars. I went to see it in a movie theatre yes I think it is a movie.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but was that a BM 48? I put my knife up to the screen when I rented it a long time ago
