I'm looking to get a new blade for brush clearing and light chopping. I've looked at Bark River, Condor, Svord, who am I missing? I've settled on the Golok design but I'd like to hear other opinions before buying.... Pics would be cool too!

I very much like my Condor Golok. I feel it is a great light chopper. Also have the Condor Pack Golok which of late I have been using. I find the handle of the Golok to be very comfortable. The handle is most important to me and what sold me on the Golok in the first place. The Condor leather sheath is great too.

Added: I have the Condor Parang too. Choose based on the kind of reach you feel is necessary.

hey martineden can you show a close-up of the ad design logo on the blade that you recommended ?,I think I have the 1st. gen. one,I love the design ,I think the best looking parangs out there hands down.

Valiant Co , / Blades of Java do a respectable golock , their base model survival golock is pretty good , in my experience

Nice blades, I'm liking that FOX Parang but I'm a bit concerned about stainless choppers not holding up. The Valiant blades are nice too.
