I got an Eriksson 746 stainless mora and decided to try piggyback mounting it on my SAS golok sheath.

The 746 has a nice fat handle with a soft sticky grip and a deep sheath.

Here's the golok and mora before the project:

And after wrapping with paracord:

It was a challenge to wrap with paracord and not get the golok sheath too tight. I finally cooked up a criss-cross weave finished off with an X lashing that draws the wrapping together and keeps it snug. I put three more wraps near the top and passing through the lower belt loop to keep it from riding up when pulling the more out of the sheath.

I have an OD green compass pouch on order. If it's not too big, I'm going to try attaching it to the combo to hold a firesteel, whistle, LED microlight and compass.

Thanks, the sweet part is the whole rig was about $42, including shipping.

Very nice functional Pair, for that price a real natural for throwing in a car or cabin.

Nice job on the wrap

Nice job bro, your pretty much set up for any adventure with that rig !!!

All you need is a sharpening system and a fire system, and you're good too go.
