Gone from BRE to BAD

I have a confession to make. I have gone recently on record here on BF as a victim of BRE - that is, Blade Related Envy. This is, of course, the fault of many of you who post such fabulous pictures of you outstanding knives. What I must confess is that I have passed from BRE to an more serious disorder - BAD, which is Blade Acquisition Disorder. My wife is so embarrassed. Every time there is a flea market open, or even a yard sale, you will find me with a panicked look on my face and a sweat beaded brow as I rifle through boxes, display cases, tables and shelves - always looking for a new Blade Acquisition! There have been times I have wrapped my over-sized hysterical mitts around the throats of vendors as I screamed, "Where are the knives???!!!"

I love me some flea markets. Sometimes there are some real diamonds in the rough to be found.

I just went through a few boxes of TSA confiscated blades at a biker get together a week ago. Mostly junk, but still had to look, and keep my Wife waiting. Just kept thinking what if I find that "one".
