Just offer full disclosure when selling the knife and perhaps add a post-it note to the card as a reminder. As long as you are honest and any potential buyers are fully informed of the situation you should be fine.

As far as sacrilegious...I don't think it means what you think it means ;)

I agree with Stjames. Just make honest and complete disclosure and let it go at that.

Like the others said, full disclosure. Can always send it to CRK for an updated BD card also, buy that in itself costs $$. So I would just go with the full disclosure.

I concur with my fellow CRK Brothers. full disclosure always the best policy.
All the best, Dave

I agree with above…. Just out of curiosity, how do you know the lock-bar scale side isn't original? just asking because if it is because of a non matching date stamp, those aren't always matching. But, if the scale post dates the bday card by a quarter then never-mind.

Probably best to disclose. The new buyer may also have similar skills to figure it out.

If it was a reblade, I can understand. But why a different lock side?

As already said just be honest about the knife and all the things with it. If you destroy anything or don't include it with a sale then you are left having to explain that and that may well send up red flags to a buyer, especially so in this day and age of snakes and their fakes. :)

So how did you figure this out?? Someone obviously did not fully disclose with you when you bought the knife!
As for the future, just tell all. I for one would not mind those changes (if disclosed) as long as lock up ect wasn't effected since the ug design on the presentation scale is what you are paying extra for with a ug Sebenza.

Ya' know, if you never sell it, the question becomes moot. I'd make it a user (maybe even a hard user) and forget about it.
Just a thought....
