I'm joining the Navy. I've known all my life that I was going to the military and now it's time to get the ball rolling. I've got 1 1/2 years of college, so I'll probably get a good MOS. Hopefully intel, but I might even go for machinist (Can you say folders?) :D

Well, guys... Wish me luck. I'll be checking in when I'm in (and can legally carry a UT6 :D )

solid_soldier,

Good luck with your first hitch, and whatever you do, do not let them suck you into the BT rating like they did me :(

Just remember, it's not a job, it's an adventure :)

solid_soldier good luck in You new endeavor.when you come back will you change your user name to solid_squid ? LOL. best reguards, tom.:)

solid_soldier: Good luck, with your Navy adventure. One really cool thing is you will get to see the world, where all depends on what Fleet your assigned.

To you and your fellow service members we thank you for the difficult but very honorable job that you do...take care

Thanks Centurian, I'll try to live up to those who have gone before me and buy a shitload of knives while doing it!

SS,

Also, don't forget to get blind-drunk and wake-up next to a hot blonde floozy directly after completing "boot".:D.:D.

Have fun, and don't take your CO's too damn seriously, except when it come to what will keep you alive.:).

Best of luck to you solid_soldier on all you undertake.

Have fun in the Navy. I'm considering enlisting in the military as well. Hopefully as machinist or metal worker. Good luck. :)
