OK, I am a big fan of his knives and after a recent trip to the Alamo I was browsing the site and found a quite good rendition of the Alamo Bowie. What Texan doesn't want a recreation of that knife? Well, as usual with Matt, boy am I impressed!! This thing is a BEHEMOTH of a knife!! The blade is about 12 3/8 inches long and looks to be a bit over a quarter thick (guess at thickness) with a nice brass spine. Most of my knives are users or at least bought to be so, but this beauty will adorn my wall when I get a display case built. I just love it. OK, now for the obligatory pics!! 
I know this may not be a knife for everyone, and I don't consider it a survival knife or anything. I just got it bacause I really like it.
