Gonna get a Farmer

Decided to get a Farmer from Amazon (too good a deal to pass up), but I need to add $8 to my order to get free shipping. Any SAK suggestions (I have the Explorer, Outrider, and Compact) that I can throw in there? Give me some ideas, gentlemen...
 
It can be more than $8:D But I'd like to keep the bill under $50 total (the Farmer is $16 and change). So between $8 and $34, lets say...
 
Yep...I'd go with the Signature or Signature Lite. With the Lite version, though, I think you lose the tweezers in exchange for a led light that isn't all that great.

Now that I think of it, I think I'd go for the Manager. Any of these make a great companion for the Farmer.
 
I would buy two farmers,but that is my favorite model of sak.one to use and one incase.
 
I would get a Vic SAK Hiker. It's a Farmer with the red plastic scales + small blade + toothpick + tweezers. I couldn't make up my mind between a Farmer and a Hiker so I bought both. You can never have too many SAKs.:D
 
Sounds like you can use an 84 mm. knife, like an alox cadet or cadet II:

I got my order from Amazon today. I bought the red alox handled Farmer, (limited edition) and a Locksmith. Both are real nice. The Alox handle is so much nicer than the the standard red cellulite? handles.

The Locksmith is a perfect size for my work tool bag. It's a big mofo.

Like everything from Victorinox; these knives are perfectly finished, snap open and closed with a solid click, are razor sharp, and feel great in my hand. I keep wondering how Victorinox can sell these high quality pieces for next to nothing.

It would be cool if Victorinox would offer a One Hand Trekker with a plain edge, and Alox handles.
 
*sigh* Just ordered 2 Bark Rivers last night, so the SAK's are gonna have to wait. Hopefully Amazon will keep it's sale going a little longer.
 
Sorry I'm late with a recommendation, but FYI Amazon has the Sportsman II for $9.49. It replaces the second blade with a nail file.

I just did. I finally came to my senses when I realized that I just couldn't pass up the red Farmer. I'm sure I'll like the silver too, but the red...c'mon!
 
bought two blue farmers with the Victorinaox AA LED flashlight package

i never knew why the alox were so popular, or why they had thier own devotees-before i actually took the time to look it over and to feel it, to me they were an SAK sans toothpick and tweezers-with a less pleasant feeling and less brightly colored and therefore less visible handle

but-they are slim, hefty, feel great and as often noted-slightly beefier in the blade and spring-great knifes-so starts the hoarding of colors
 
Just ordered both a red and a silver one! I can't wait to get them...and free shipping, too! You can't beat a Farmer for an EDC pocketknife.
