Good/Bad News! The Iron Mistress w/Alan Ladd Being Released on DVD but in Chinese

Please see the following Amazon.Com page. On 4/10/2007, the Alan Ladd film, "The Iron Mistress", a very fictionalized view of Jim Bowie's early life, will finally be released on DVD. But it will be in Chinese!! DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! I love this film and I have wanted it on DVD for years. It was what turned me on to knives as a hobby. There is also some queation as to the DVD format in which will be released. Would it even be playable on US DVD players? I have no idea and, apparently, neither does Amazon.

How many of you remember when a memberr circulated a pirated copy off of Stars Westerns Cable around the membership? We all were wondering if and when Hollywood would get around to issuing a VHS or DVD version of the film.
 
Interesting, the B&N version is said to be "Wide-Screen," which implies to me that it is letterbox format while the version at DeepDiscount says that it is "Full Screen" implying a normal tv picture. Meanwhile, they both have the same IPX #, 669657486621, so they are the same. "Fascinating," as a certain Science Officer was wont to say.

I believe that I shall wait for late April and then give some of these folks a phone call and try to establish what is for real.
