I am thinking of getting a nice Bali trainer so I can learn how to flip and all that cool stuff with out having to explain to my employer why I can't use my right hand. I want it to be as close in weight to a standard Bali and not cost as much as a real quality one like a BM 42, say around $50 or so.

The pharmacy has a cheap trainer made by Ronin. It's not bad for like $12 and if you break it or drop it too many times, easily replaced. I've got one myself and bought another for a friend.

for 10 to 20 bucks you can get a swap meet balisong (sometimes even cheaper).

I have seen them in big malls in those Merch-booths as well.

[If it is legal] you could find them online.

Just buy a cheapo and dull the edges (which will already be prety dull)

they are usualy made of steel so they will weigh about the same.
