Okay I know a hell of a lot about balisongs, but I really know very little about heavy duty chopping knives and similar.
I know the kukri and the parang are reputed to be good solid blades suitable also for carving.
I know this has probably been asked many times but can you guys recommend a good solid blade for around or under $200.
I am looking for something preferably around 8 to 10 inches or so.
