Good Botach Experience

I'd purchased a flashlight and some night sights from Botach w/o any problems, so when I read all the bad things people wrote about them here I was a little leery of doing more business with them.
I couldn't pass up the great prices so I ordered my second Emerson, a CQC-7B w/ a plain blade and green handles. $85.00 w/ shipping and it arrived in less than a week. Maybe I'm just lucky, but they've hooked me with their prices. A few more weeks and my first Commander will be on the way (I hope :D )
 
My experience with BT.com has been that you MUST call in your orders...or at least call to verify everything is OK if you place your order online. Once I learned that you HAVE TO GET someone on the phone...things worked out OK. That being said, you do give up something when you get the kind of deals they offer...*read: good service*. If I were only saving some $$ on a few small things, I'd go elsewhere (and usually do)...but when putting up with a little frustration saves me $50-100 on my bigger orders...well, then it is worth it...
 
True enough. I ordered my Commander from them with 2 day shipping. After a week I called them, finding out the model I ordered (BTS) would be unavailable for 6-8 weeks. The BT model was in stock, so I switched my order. I had it the next day. I will call first from now on.
 
I agree call them.They had cqc7 minis on sale for $71,I wanted black handle with plain satin blade,they said they did not have satin would black be ok? Sure. A couple days later they called to say no black blades how about a satin one?:( OK sure send me one;) well they did next day air for making a mistake.
