Good budget boot knife?

There's the cold steel gen 2 spikes and others from CS as said above
The crkt aquisition and strafe are also quite nice

Is dear old mom looking for something that will actually clip into a boot that can be comfortably worn inside her boot?

Here's one of the Cold Steels; the Peace Maker. My 3V knife is in the sheath in the first photo below. I just bought it to get the sheath for my 3V work knife but turns out the Peace Maker is a pretty solid feeling knife in hand; not cheep or flimsy . . . good stuff. The handle is solid hard rubber like material as opposed to hollow plastic like it may look in the photos.

Here is the other side of the Peace Maker sheath showing the clip.

She thinks it looks pretty cool

The Gerber Guardian is a good one.

Check out the A.G. Russell Sting by CRKT. They have a couple types. Myself, I like the Sting 3B...

Whatever you get her... make sure she knows how to use it or someone teaches her how to draw and use it, as most 'boot knives' are often bought for offensive purposes, usually misnamed as self defensive.
