Good (Bull)dog or bad (Bull)dog?

hi guys,

i just internet-ordered this Bulldog Whittler, looks like a Viking model. 3 7/8 closed, 3 blades, Buffalo Horn with Double Doghead etch and Crest Shield.

The website didn't specify steel type. I'm thinking (hoping) carbon. Can anyone tell me with certainty? (Calling the seller tomorrow).

Anyone have one? If so, how do you like it? What's a fair price for this? Any info about this knife in particular and the opinions of the Bulldog brand whittlers in general will be greatly appreciated.

I don't have any experience with their stainless, but I truly love their carbon. Easy to sharpen, takes a fine edge, and holds it well.

is there anyway of telling the age of german eye or if blade is carbon or stainless

called today. it's carbon but they did make both types. so you should specify what you want.
