Hey all!

I'm on a trip for awhile in the UK/Europe, In London now, then heading to Ireland and Scotland, then Paris.

I was curious if there was any thing I should hunt down while I'm on this side of the pond. Bushcraft clothing, knives, axes, spear/axe heads, etc. Just had a thought!

Thanks!

I'm not really familiar with the UK and Ireland, but there's the British army knife. What about traditional French knives? The French have some nice well known brands like Opinel, Laguiole and Nontron.

The knife stores I visited in Spain, France, and Switzerland had either cheap tourist junk, or the same stuff you can find here but more expensive. I was disappointed I didn't find any hidden European treasure knives.

Opinel comes to my mind, as Laguiole.
If you google "messergeschäft in paris" you will find a german knife discussion site wich has the topic covered for Paris.
hope this helps.
have a safe trip.

Heinnie Haynes, Barry, UK--great outdoor gear. Showroom is closed Sat-Mon. though.

Obviously the Opinels in France....models and woods rarely showcased here.

Aceros de Hispania in Teruel, Spain--fine regional and ethnic knives if you get that far south. Their stiletto line is killer.
