Just wanted to let you guys know that my last day at CompUSA was Saturday the 1st. It went well and was actually kind of hard for me to leave. I've spent just over 3 years with the company and am sad to see my store close. Now to start a new life as it were. Right after work my sister picked me up and we went to Mom's house for a few days. I got back this afternoon. It was rather relaxing. Though we did drive through a blizzard to get there which was a little unnerving. But we made it safe and sound and had good times.

For my Birthday I ordered a French Style Hawk from a Maker this site. It arived Thursday. Said maker then posted another type of hawk which I almost bought. Instead I called a local Gun dealer and ordered a Henry .22 Frontier model Lever gun. It should be ariving Wednesday at his shop. He didn't have any in stock so he placed an ordered for me over the phone. Another good thing thats happening is, I'm getting part of my Severance package on Wednesday. Corporate is sending my last paycheck and paying out my 2 and a half weeks of vacation time all on the same check. It arived at the store this morning but since I was in Spring City with my mom, my old boss dropped it in the mail. It might be here tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday. I'm saying Wednesday so as not to be disapointed if it gets delayed a day. Pics of the Rifle will follow after I get it. Just wanted to share the good news now. Thanks,

Wow, they all shut down here in short order last year. It was ugly the last few days, bitter employees, screaming sales.

My store in Orem was one of the best in the company so we kept getting shipments of product till almost a week ago. I had a blast, it was fun working the closing sales and most of my coworkers felt the same. Good management helped with that. Sorry you had bad experiences at your local stores.

One more day till I get my new Rifle! What the heck am I going to do to keep my self busy till it comes????
 
Thanks guys. I've been going crazy waiting for my Henry to arive which it finally did today. Picked up a 525 round box of .22 shells to go with it, a rifle case and two boxes of 125 gr .38 Spcl. I'll post pics soon.

Got part of my "Thanks for staying to the end" Bonus today. It was much bigger then I thought. Going to pay off all of my summer rent and Renters insurence tomorrow or the next day. :) After that I might treat my self again....

Now to figure out what I want to do for a living this summer.....
